A. Waikiki Beach: Still #1 on Oahu.
No big waves, great for kids/families, gentle for everyone. Enjoy the beautiful turquoise water of famous Waikiki Beach. Also great spot to learn how to Surf! Grab your beach towel/blanket, sun-screen, cooler, beach chairs and relax on Waikiki Beach! Aloha!
B. Lanikai & Kailua Beaches – Windward Side
Drive over the “pali Highway’ and check out two of the most gorgeous beaches in all of Hawaii, a short 30-minutes out of Waikiki. The Scenery on the drive over the Pali is gorgeous.
Once you’re there, you’ll enjoy sapphire-blue clear waters and white sandy

This makes for a great day trip to the other side of the island, that has a wonderful local vibe and is truly a beach-town area. Check out the cool shops in Haleiwa Town, grab a ‘shave ice’ at famous Matsumoto’s, then wiggle your toes in the sand in both Sunset Beach and nearby Waimea Bay
This is a very famous surfing spot if there in winter you’ll see some of the world’s best surfers compete in great surfing contests, featuring Van’s. You might see some famous surf guys including Laird Hamilton. Don’t miss famous “Banzai Pipeline” for world-class surfing, where waves in Winter reach up to 40 feet. Aloha!
D. Makaha Beach/East Shore
For a relaxing ‘ get away from it all’ feel, take a drive to the East side of the
island and check out beautiful Makaha Beach. Quiet and relaxing, a real local spot where you can ‘talk story’ with local island folks. A stunning semi-circular beach lined with coco palms.
